Adventist Youth Society – Making disciples from adolescence to young adults. The story of the Adventist Youth Society began over 125 years ago along a dusty country lane in Michigan with two young boys kneeling in prayer. Today that dusty lane has become a world-wide web of highways that links over 10 million Seventh-day Adventist young people in nearly every political entity on every continent of the globe. This story comes in every hue of the rainbow; it is filled with extremes of exhilaration and mountaintop experiences, as well as deep sadness and unfulfilled dreams. This is the story of God’s leading a fascinating army down through the battles of the great over arching conflict that is life as we know it now.
Adventist Youth Ministries
Adventist Youth Ministries oversees Youth, Pathfinders, Adventurers, Camping, Young Adults and Public Campus Ministry for the churches and schools of the North American Division. We mobilize large networks of empowered local leaders for each of these ministry disciplines. We oversee the development of products, training, and many other services to assist leaders in accomplishing ministry in their local settings.
Center For Youth Evangelism
A movement of Seventh-day Adventist young people committed to letting God change their lives and the lives of their friends and peers. Based on the lost parables in the gospel of Luke, our mission is to find ways to share the gospel with our youth. Jesus shared the three stories to illustrate our mission must flexible. There are youth are in the church like the coin yet not connected. There are youth that have simply wandered away from the walk with God just like the lost sheep. And there are youth that have made a decision to leave just like the prodigal son. Our mission is to push the limit and reach out to develop and provide the methods, resources, and leadership necessary to train young people in effective youth-to-youth evangelism.
Insight Magazine
Insight’s mission is to reach the full spectrum of Seventh-day Adventist teenagers with a magazine that helps them grow in a friendship with God; solve life’s problems; choose positive Christian values and principles to live by; provide an Internet forum for discussion and interaction with other SDA teens. These goals will be met through editorials, true dramatic stories, readers’ letters, devotionals, and advice columns.
Involve Youth
INVOLVE YOUTH (formerly Piece of the Pie Ministries) energizes young people for service. Rather than merely entertain or bore into deadness, INVOLVE YOUTH seeks to do what the name proclaims – to “involve” young people. Service is the highest form of involvement for a follower of Jesus Christ.
