Now signed with the Famous Amos Music Label, Hunt is excited about his new Christmas CD release entitled “My Gift to You” released in December 2009 and is preparing now for his Summer 2010 live recording -“Flowing River”.

Terrell is the Founder and CEO of Terrell Hunt Ministries, Inc., which is comprised of 3 organizations: NuPsalms Productions, Inc., – a songwriting, vocal and music production house, ArkBearers International, Inc., – a Music Ministry leadership training and consulting firm for Worship Leaders and Music Ministers and Generation Alive!, Inc., – a non-profit organization with a powerful and proactive mission to provide foundational development through mentoring and tutoring academically deficient youth in the greater Washington, DC/Metropolitan area and abroad who are gifted and talented in the performing arts.

In addition, Terrell serves as the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Talented Young People Moving On (TYPMO) – a non-profit organization for youth development, empowerment and advancement for youth seeking involvement in the performing arts.

Having mastered the art of transforming even daily activities into ministry opportunities, Terrell strives to be one who reflects purity and integrity at a level unheard of in today’s music industry and ministry as a leader in Christian business ownership.

More than any of this, Terrell strives daily to be a man after God’s own heart, living in His presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Terrell’s most sincere beliefs are in a “lifestyle of worship.” He professes that he cannot lead the people of God to a place he has never been himself. Terrell proclaims, “That’s why it’s important for me to live daily in the presence of God. My relationship with my creator is the lifeline of my ministry and career. Fads fade, but lifestyle and relationship are eternal.”

Terrell says, “Most importantly, if you don’t remember anything else about me, remember that I’m a child of God saved by grace, signed, sealed, delivered, and sold out completely for Him and His kingdom building.”

He was the second child of Dorothy Hall who raised him till the age of eight. Due to parenting issues, he was placed in the care of Pastor Willo and Lola Mae Early. Under their guidance, he accepted Christ, discovered he had a gift to sing, to mime, and became an asset to the ministry at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Judah sang in various choirs and was one of the founders of Gods Gift and Expressions (Expressions was a mime ministry with his partner Rufus Reddick).

He graduated from Bedford High School in 1999 and attended Tri-C Community College for a short time after. In the fall of 2000, he began attending Youngstown State University majoring in Hospitality Management. While attending YSU he became a watch care member at Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Michael H. Harrison Sr. While attending Union, Judah hit a spiritual growth spurt and developed a hunger for a sincere Christian lifestyle and accepted his calling to the ministry on February 17, 2002 and was licensed by his father on the spot.

While attending YSU he joined the Youngstown State Gospel Choir where he serves as Chaplin and the bass player. He also met DuJuan Ball and they began JD Mime Ministry. The gospel choir is also where Judah met Derek Dixie, one of the founders of The Beatlab. Judah E. and The Beatlab recorded the gospel hip-hop album titled Scriptures which won the gospel hip-hop album of the year in 2004 nominated by the American Gospel Music Awards. Judah has started his own production company, Obadiah Productions and is currently working on his first vocal gospel album.

Southeast SDA Church celebrates a new tradition—Family and Friends Day. Established to honor families and visitors, this special day will continue every fourth Sabbath.

The inaugural day featured special musical guests, the Cleveland State University Gospel Choir. Southeast’s own Mirage Productions per-formed a skit entitled, “The Champion,” for the children’s story. Written by Jan Lavender, the skit creatively depicted the Great Controversy as a lit-eral boxing match between Christ and Satan.

Member and Ward 2 Councilwoman Deborah Hill, along with the Department of Family Life, presented recognitions of appreciation to a friend and a family of Southeast. (Left) Margaret Young-Hewitt, VP of Construction, University Hospitals, received the Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her exceptional leadership and devoted service. (Below) Southeast members Robert and Rosemary Walton were honored with a plaque acknowledging their exceptional dedication to the Christian family.

This high day culminated in spiritual enrichment as Pastor Hurst delivered the anointed word entitled, “Armed & Dangerous.” This sermon taught that when armed with the Holy Spirit, “born-again Christians have authority over the devil.” Pastor Hurst defined authority as “the legal right to use the power of God.”

The celebration ended in Fellowship Hall with a well-attended and highly enjoyed soul-food luncheon.

The Lee-Miles Ministerial Alliance presented its 4th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Praise and Worship Service, hosted by Southeast SDA Church, Jerome M. Hurst, Senior Pastor. This event, presided over by Timothy Eppinger, Senior Pastor of God’s Tabernacle of Faith Church, honored the King of Kings, while celebrating the legacy of Dr. King.

Attendees were uplifted by the anointed praise of Inspirational Voices of Faith, the Ramah Jr. Academy Youth Choir, and the Zion Chapel Mass Choir. Vikki Pruitte-Sorrells, Associate Pastor of Lee Heights Community Church, delivered a
dramatic reading of excerpts from Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, bringing worshippers to their feet as their voices proclaimed in unison: “Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we’re free at last.”

Robin Miller, Senior Pastor of Lee Heights Community Church introduced the keynote speaker, George O. Stewart, Senior Pastor, Zion Chapel Baptist Church, who spoke powerfully on the importance of working together to realize dreams. According to Pastor Stewart, “God blesses you so you can bless somebody else.” To emphasize the theme of his sermon, Pastor Stewart sang “No Man is an Island,” accompanied by the Zion Chapel Mass Choir.

Preaching from Isaiah 53, Pastor Stewart reminded us of the sufferings of Christ and that of Dr. King. This evoked powerful memories of imprisonment, vicious attack dogs, and the water hoses that marked the Civil Rights struggle. However, Dr. King was a man of faith, and “Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”

Pastor Stewart summed up his message by announcing, “We’re celebrating the God of Martin Luther King.”
The Lee-Miles Ministerial Alliance is comprised of ministers from various churches in Cleveland’s Ward One actively involved in the community.

Dr. Terry Teykl, in his book, “Acts 29,” writes this challenge to us all: “Imagine gang members, drug dealers, racists & sex offenders being transformed by the Gospel. Imagine politicians, judges & other influential leaders taking stands based on the word of God. Imagine hundreds & even thousands of people being saved in a single church service! Imag-ine the unimaginable.” Then he goes on to say, “It all happened in the pages of Acts, and it can happen again if you are willing to pay the price.”

He’s right! The early church, as recorded in the Book of Acts, was a dynamic, growing church that turned the world of its day upside down! I think that much of the secret of the impact of the early church upon the people can be found in just a few verses in the 2nd chapter of Acts. Take the time to read Acts 2: 41-47…

Now those seven verses may be short, but they contain within them a description of the characteristics that marked the life & witness of the early church. And I’m convinced that their characteristics, when present in any church today, will produce the same results produced then. It is from those seven verses that we find our purpose for existing.

The Southeast Seventh-day Adventist Church exists to create an envi-ronment where people can:

Connect through Fellowship

Mature through Learning

Share God through Outreach

Experience God through Worship
